About Joan

Joan was born in Massachusetts and raised in South Florida. She attended various schools in Miami and received her Law Enforcement Certification from Miami-Dade Community College. Joan worked for the City of Miami Beach and retired after an exemplary 27 year career. She has devoted a lot of time to various charities and community service.

Joan chose to enter the Real Estate Profession in order to continue to provide a valuable service to her community. Whether you are selling, buying, renting or investing, Joan will commit herself to getting you where you want to be. She is a member of the National, Florida and Ft. Lauderdale Board of Realtors®.  Joan has earned the GRI (Graduate Real Estate Institute) designation, the Fair Housing – At home with Diversity designation and the ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative Designation, from the Board of Realtors.

Joan has made her home in Pembroke Pines for the past 28 years. She is married to Oldy Ochoa and the mother of 3 sons and 2 step-sons. “Southwest Broward has been a great place to live and raise our children, I love it here.”
